Father of Kit, whose business as a cabdriver was ruined when the Landleaguers boycotted all the neighboring "gentry," the only ones who could pay to ride in his cab. He later turned against the Landleaguers, and supplied the evidence that convicted Terry Lax of the murder of Florian Jones.
